As far as I know, our Zip code is behind the game as far as meeting?
Do people prefer a Saturday afteroon or Monday evening? I suggest the West Village Starbucks, unless someone has a better or more convenient option?
As far as "next steps" for our group - I sent an email to Congresswoman Eddie Bernice Johnson's website to see if she plans on having a townhall during the August recess. So far I've had no response nor does her congressional website indicate any public events.
Objective 1: get as many TEA party residents of her district to an event and ask questions
Objective 2: TEA party residents of her district try to get a meeting w/ her if she does not have a public event.
The latter would probably have to be during working hours but for those of us who could get there, it might be worth it.
Anyone else have any ideas? EBJ may be a lost cause in regards to changing her opinion on taxes, cap/trade, healthcare...etc but at least we
